Last week was another busy one here at West Byfleet, with new autumn/winter stock arriving at the Pro Shop, as well as on-going decorating on the interior of the Shop.
We were also busy preparing for the David Regan's Farewell Pro-Am. The day was a big success and enjoyed by everyone, including the members who came to support! David's team saw some excellent golf from Laura Davis, who shot a stunning 69, breaking par for the first time off white tees.
David didn't do too badly himself, putting in a great score of 73.
Big congratulations go to Nick Flynn with an awesome 69, as well as our Assistant Pro, Daniel Painter with a 70, which put him in third place; for his second round this year it's a very impressive score indeed.
Whilst in the bar after, a particular member come up to me and asked if he could try my PGA blazer on……HMMM...
Old Range Balls
We kindly ask members not to hit old balls out on the practice field. Please hand them into the Pro Shop, in exchange for a small credit on your account as a gesture of good will. We are currently sorting out our range balls and sifting through the bad ones.
Future plans to improve the driving range and practice net by the first tee will be taking place over the winter, to update and modernise the area. Watch this space…
Future Ideas
Dan and I would welcome any ideas or thoughts of what you as members would like to see in the Pro shop or practice facilities.
For example, if there are any brands you would like us to stock in the shop, or if you have ideas on ways to improve customer experience, etc. All ideas welcome.
Come and have a chat with us in the pro shop or click here to get in touch with your ideas or requests.
