Here’s a question for you…

What do a 42-year-old Texan and a 24-year-old Spaniard have in common?

The answer is they paired up to win the Zurich Classic of New Orleans last weekend - the PGA Tour's only team event.

Ryan Palmer and Jon Rahm stormed to a three-shot victory at TPC Louisiana in the Crescent State, scooping just over $1 million each in the process. Once the duo had found the top of the leaderboard after the second hole on Sunday, they never relinquished the lead on their way to a comfortable three-shot victory.

Palmer admitted he was surprised when Rahm accepted his offer to pair up, but both will no doubt be glad he did after Palmer claimed his fourth PGA Tour win and Rahm his third.

Molinari highlights slow play

Once again, the debate on slow play reared its ugly head over the weekend. Edoardo Molinari tweeted a list of timings after playing a five-and-a-half-hour round at the European Tour’s Trophee Hassan II event, making it clear he wasn't happy.

Northern Irishman Graeme McDowell was quick to dismiss Molinari’s clear frustration, saying he is ‘flogging a dead horse’, claiming players can’t get around any quicker. But what do you think?
